Thursday, 6/28: Celebrate Allentown’s 250th on 19th Street!

BOUTIQUETOGO and the Merchants in The West End Theatre District Celebrate Allentown’s 250th on 19th Street! On the evening of Thursday, June 28th the Civic Theatre and the City of Allentown will host a one of a kind silent film event and street festival on 19th Street. The film event will feature Buster Keaton’s “The General” with live accompaniment on Civic’s Moeller Grand Organ by Don Kinnier. “The General” is widely regarded as one of the greatest silent comedies ever. Filled with hilarious visual gags and perfectly timed stunt work, the film tells the story of single brave, but foolish, Southern Confederate train engineer doggedly in pursuit of his passionately-loved locomotive (“The General”) and the woman he loves. Tickets for adults are only $5 and kids are only $2.50. The first 250 attendees will receive a coupon for a free Yacco’s hot dog. In addition the Pascal family will be celebrating the marriage of our son Michael to Desiree Mullett this Saturday. Please join us for champagne, bellinis and crudite between 4pm and 7pm. The boutique will be opened until 7pm.  Please stop by any time this week and enter our drawing for a $250 gift certificate. Our red white and blue sale of accessories for 50% off and 40% off jewelry will continue and our SIDEWALK SALE will be constantly stocked each day this week with savings up to 90%.
